APPNA STC Celebrates Successful Collaboration with VCare, Aga Khan Health Foundation, and Regional Ismaili Council to Enhance Community Healthcare
The Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America – South Texas Chapter (APPNA STC) proudly recognizes the outstanding teamwork and dedication displayed during a recent community health initiative at the newly established Ismaili Jamatkhana in Richmond.
The collaboration between VCare, the Aga Khan Health Foundation, the Regional Ismaili Council, and APPNA STC members successfully delivered essential healthcare services to the local community. The event, organized in partnership with the Aga Khan Medical Board, drew an impressive number of patients, highlighting the urgent need for accessible healthcare resources.
“As President of APPNA STC, I am immensely proud of our members who played a vital role in this meaningful collaboration,” said Naveed Saqib, MD, FACS, President of APPNA STC 2025. “This initiative not only underscores our shared commitment to improving community health but also showcases the dedication and hard work of every participant. I am deeply grateful to everyone who gave their weekend to evaluate and care for those in need.”
Special recognition was extended to Dr. Noor Punjwani and Dr. Bilal Lodhi for their exceptional contributions to APPNA STC’s health fairs throughout the year.
APPNA STC remains steadfast in its mission to promote health, education, and philanthropy. “We are committed to sustaining this positive trend in our philanthropic efforts,” added Dr. Saqib. “Together, we can continue to make a meaningful impact in our community.”
