The APPNA South Texas Chapter is proud to announce that it has been recognized as Best Chapter of the Year 2026, marking an important milestone in the chapter’s continued commitment to service, education, professional collaboration, and community engagement.
The achievement reflects the collective efforts of more than 500 APPNA STC members, as well as the dedication of the chapter’s current and former leaders, volunteers, donors, sponsors, families, and community partners.
APPNA STC brings together physicians and healthcare professionals who are committed to strengthening communities throughout Houston and South Texas while supporting humanitarian and educational initiatives in the United States and Pakistan.
The chapter’s work includes medical missions, free health fairs, scholarship programs, charitable initiatives, physician mentorship, professional networking, cultural celebrations, youth engagement, and community sports activities. These programs have helped expand access to healthcare, support students and young physicians, create opportunities for professional growth, and strengthen connections among members and their families.
The Best Chapter of the Year recognition also acknowledges the chapter’s culture of teamwork and continuity. APPNA STC credits its success to the foundation created by previous leadership, the direction provided by its current officers and Board of Trustees, and the active participation of members throughout the region.
